Dr. Angela Ferguson

Dr. Angela Ferguson’s path in optometry is a testament to her deep commitment to her hometown, Walla Walla. Following her graduation from Waitsburg High School, she pursued her academic aspirations and successfully obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from The College of Idaho. Her passion for eye care led her to Pacific University, where she obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000.

Joining Valley Vision Clinic in July 2000 as an Optometric Physician, Dr. Ferguson’s dedication and hard work saw her rise through the ranks, transitioning from a technician to an esteemed optometrist within the practice. With a strong belief in the importance of routine eye care from a young age, Dr. Ferguson provides compassionate and comprehensive eye care services for patients of all ages, from infants to adults. Her advocacy for children’s vision extends beyond the clinic walls, as she actively participates in local boards to enhance children’s eye health care in the valley.

Beyond her professional commitments, Dr. Ferguson is deeply involved in various community organizations, including the Little Theatre of Walla Walla, Hospice, Grange, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter at Whitman College. She is also an active member of the American Optometric Association at the national, state, and local levels.

Outside work, Dr. Ferguson finds joy in spending quality time with her husband, Eric, and their daughter, Lauren, engaging in landscaping, stage managing, and decorating.
